United Way hosts Resource Distribution

On October 21, United Way of Coastal Georgia, in partnership with America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, Community Church, and Department of Public Health, hosted a free resource distribution at Glynn Place Mall.  The drive-thru distribution provided food, cleaning supplies, and PPE to over 600 families in need in the Coastal Georgia community.  UWCGA was able to  provide cleaning supplies thanks to a Community Development Block Grant from the City of Brunswick.  Southeast Georgia Health System was also on site to provide free drive-thru flu vaccinations.  To read coverage of the event from The Brunswick News please click here.
