A Shared Vision

United Way of Coastal Georgia advances the common good in our community. Our work focuses on, and invests in, the building blocks for a good quality of life – health, education, and financial stability. We understand that no one organization or solution can solve these big issues. That’s why United Way, in its role as convener, works to unite teams of nonprofits to establish collaborative solutions that have a long-term impact in Coastal Georgia.

Local Impact –
Improving Lives in Coastal Georgia

Since 1956, we have been a volunteer-driven organization in the business of creating meaningful and tangible impact in our community. For over 65 years we have excelled in bringing diverse people and resources together to address the most urgent issues facing residents of Coastal Georgia. Whether through raising money and awareness, volunteering their time, or advocating the United Way message, hundreds of local residents and corporate partners are engaged in improving the lives of their neighbors.

Volunteer Today

United Way of Coastal Georgia connects volunteers and opportunities that meet critical needs. Examples of opportunities include tutoring and mentoring in schools, preparing meals in shelters, and advocating for those in crisis.
